Finally i've got some time to blog about my bday celebration from 27th til 29th May...

My 1st gift from Lei Wei...
such a cute thingi which uses solar energy to move its head from side to side...
It's in my car now... alone... poor thing, haha...
After class at 4pm, went to 'yam cha' with Guat Yee, Lei Wei, and Amanda at Station One, Taipan.
i ordered a glass of 'Happiness' - green colour liquid.
Regretted. Too Sweet. Not that happy after drinking it, instead i was seriously dehydrated...

On 28th of May, Thursday...
My 1st card of the day... from my lovely brother~
He gave me by slotting it under my door be4 leaving to school at 6 smt am...
It is the 1st time he writes a 'letter' and gave me as a present.
So touching and funny...
It made me laugh everytime i read it.

How do i feel early in the morning??
don't really know...
like normal only...
but there some 'excitatory nerves' running around...

IT's ASCENSION OF BAHA'U'LLAH on the 29th of May...

The return of the Prophet to the Abha Kingdom...

I followed my father to Baha'i centre at Taipan...

We prayed, chanted, and made wished together...

There were some talks and sharing session on the Life of Baha'u'llah as The Promise One who suffered and endured for the betterment of our lives~

We went home at 3am after being spiritually fed...

i woke up at 11am in the morning...

Went to Summit for a movie - Night at the Museum 2 with 17 people...

all of them are Seafield students who had finished their exams... except me.... T.T

This is Lei Wei who gave me the 1st present... thank you...

Night at the Museum 2 is a nice comedy...

nine-teening...

Yup, my 101 post.

i told myself not to use 'I' from now onwards in my blog post (only in blog post, can't do it in uni...). i accidentally used an 'I' for my previous post, because i was writing too enthusiastically that i didn't even notice it, until yesterday. Haha... Did anyone spotted it?

Now, back to the topic.

In 4 more days, i will officially turn 19. Both of my 'English birthday' and 'Chinese Birthday' falls on the same day -28th of May 2009. Yes, i was born on 'Duan Wu Festival' - the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.

This Thursday would also be my last day of lectures in this first semester, which means that FINAL is very soon!!!
My mum asked me how would i like to celebrate my significant day as 2 birthday dates coincide is a very special occasion.

... ...
I don't know what i want.

This Tuesday will be organic chem practical online test + PHS I pratical test in lab.
Don't know what to expect.
We will have to prepare extemporaneous medicines, write labels, check prescription for patients, calculate dose, ... ... altogether 6 questions which will take 15% of our entire mark for this unit.

i should be studying now, instead, i'm blogging, listening to musics, watching my favourite TV show-GHOST2, climbing on the net... ...
Simply irresistable.

New movies like Night at the Museum 2 are on cinemas.
i even got free movie birthday vouchers from GSC.
Should i go for a movie on my birthday??

so much to do yet so little time.

ok, i will turn 19 soon.
So what?!?

reminded me that i have not done anything great in the past 18 years.

NO BOUNDARIES~~~

This is my 100th post on this blog.
i am going to use proper English with proper punctuations, except for the word 'I'. i am going to use the small letter 'i' because the main focus here is Kris - The Latest American Idol.

Anyhow, i did not plan to write something about American Idol in this middle of the night, just the mood that aroused me and triggered my nerve sensors (in my fingers).

i just watched Adam's and Kris's performances via 8tv.
i know that the results were out, as Astro broadcast live performances (or at least faster than 8tv).
Many said that it was the saddest history of American Idol.

After watching the show, i sincerely think that Kris deserved it.
He is so cute, humble, instrumentally talented, pure... ...

Okay, back to judging the truth.
Why Kris won??

There are 2 reasons in my mind.
1st, everyone thinks that Adam will surely win, so why waste their precious money on the votes??

2nd, everyone loves Kris. His love spreads all around the city, America, the world. They just couldn't stop voting for him.

I think that the 2nd reason is the fact that Kris won. Fair and Square.

Adam had professional training, and performed at many places before, besides having the 'incredible' voice which can reach a note that no one knows it existed. However, most of his songs were 'screamy'.
At the beginning of the competition, he captured my attention with his huge voice and outstanding personality in his songs. Unfortunately, 99% of his songs were so highly pitched and rocky, and frankly, i just couldn't stand it anymore. i just couldn't differentiate his songs (besides 'mad world'), as all of them are of the same kind with similar emotions.
Some people say that he is so gayish. i don't know the truth, but it is unfair to say that just because one doesn't like his style.

As for Kris, he turns from a 'zero' to a HERO.
He was a shy, normal guy with some hidden talent, waiting to burst out of his inner soul. 'Kris who??' i didn't even notice him until the Top6 stage. Now, he is KRIS ALLEN.
He grew slowly, but steadily. i didn't even know that he plays the piano as well as the guitar. When he sings, he really sings with his soul (although sometimes he stretched his jaws and mouth side ways to reach certain notes). He doesn't have the 'big voice' like Adam, but he persevered, and continue striving and performed the songs with his style. He has a much soothing voice & style which can be listened over and over again via the radio or mp3. And, he is still improving.

This is what American Idol is all about. Seeing how an unknown person who has limited confidence bloom into a STAR. i should say that the voters are smart.
Anyhow, both of them were given the chance to record their own album and this is not the end of the journey.

As for the last song - 'NO BOUNDARIES', i just couldn't remember the way Adam sang it. Maybe i was focusing too much on his high pitched voice. After that, when Kris sang it, i thought that he will loose to Adam's voice, and the song will be too hard for him, but i loved it very much! i remembered the lyrics and the meaning of the song, besides reflecting his 'story' of struggling to this Finale.

JY camp - Templer's Park...

Just went to Templer's Park on Saturday and Sunday...
A Junior Youths' Camp organised by Beow - The founder of a non-profit organisation, FLAME...He was a King Scout, together with a few of his old friends, also King Scouts... wow...

Many JYs from Subang, PJ and KL participated in this camp... 5 of my JYs in USJ1 participated in this camp and they had lots of fun plus invaluable experience...

Purpose?? -- Appreciate nature, build cooperation, make friends, experience something new which cannot be learnt at concrete buildings in urban areas....

We had a jungle hike, camp fire + performances, captain ball in the night, Night Walk, Station Games-Obstacles, and the best of all: River hike....

After a long jungle hike... finally... the water fall...(only a small part of the water fall behind)

A: Do you remember what occured when you were young?
B: Not really... Only some special incidents when i was 3 or 4 years old... I don't quite remember... Don't even realize that i am a living person on earth...

A: Really? I don't remember everything, but some things i do remember very clearly... For example, i remembered that my aunty brought me to the clinic in USJ2 when i was 4 years old...
B: Oooo... then?

A: The doctor wanted to inject me, so i cried... and refused to let the doctor touch me...
B: Wah...

A: So my aunty bought some toys for me(masak-masak) from the shop next door to make me smile and be happy, then bring me back to the clinic for injection.... And i still can remember the price of the toys... RM 4.69.... And the toys lasted for only a few days... then spoilt by me.. haha
B: What?!? You even remembered the price of the toys?? Harrr? What kind of special memory do u have??

A: Weird eh? Somethings i do remember very clearly until now... But some things, like where i placed my books at home, i can't remember... and mum always says that my memory is getting weaker... and i'm going to be like a 'lao tai po'... haha
B: Yup, true.... sometimes we remember funny stuff, or rather unimportant... Things that are more important, such as homework, we tend to forget easily....

A: Do u believe in dream? What is dream actually??
B: I don't really know... But i do dream every night... Some i can remember them quite well, some i can't recall them straight away after getting up from the bed...

A: Yaya, me too... Sometimes, when i see something, i feel that they are so familiar, like i have dreamt of them before...
B: Yes! like that pet from petsociety, I have surely seen it before, some time ago in one of my dreams!

One evening, after a really really heavy rain.....red flames and sparkles....

That's why the police, firemen and TNB came...

What an interesting day....

But it can be really dangerous....

Back to Kelantan~

Wow, the sunflower is growing!
But i got to leave it to my cousin sis for a few days... Coz i flew to Kota Bahru, Kelantan for 'Ching Ming' on last friday evening, and only flew back on Sunday night...

We went to Subang Airport and took the flight from FireFly...

It was a very small, but new plane... I counted that there are approximately 72 sits in the plane...

By that time, I only knew that FireFly is owned by MAS, and it's competitor is AirAsia...

Their services were pretty good...

They even serve drinks(mango juice) and cookies for free!!! (To attract more customers...smart^v^)

After approx~ one hour flight, we reached Kota Bahru at 9.30pm...

3rd uncle rent an Unser from the airport to drive us around...

We meet up with 2nd Aunty and Uncle somewhere in the middle of the city... and they brought us for dinner, or rather supper....

This is the view 0f Kota Bahru from my 2nd aunty's kondo, 11th floor.....

We woke up very early in the morning to prepare as we are going to 'visit' my late Grandmother... (This is our main purpose to Kelantan)

On the way, my father told us that this was his Secondary School...

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Ismail...

Flowers, cups, food, drinks, brooms, 'money', jo-sticks.....

'Po Po, we are here to visit you and pray together...'

I remembered that I skipped my Form one first sem's examination because my grandma had just passed away....

So, it has passed 6 years...

Time flies....

I remembered that i cried a lot in that month...

There are many stalls beside the road, selling nice food and drinks...

I love many types of food from Kelantan, which will be introduced later....

In the evening, i followed my cousin sis to her sister's working place - Home Hair Saloon

I heard that the price were very cheap, and i wanted to do something with my hair...

Which colour suites me??
I thought of dying my hair....

After 2nd thought, I decided to only cut my hair, wash my hair, and steam my hair...

I like both of these colours... Will try them on one day....

The steamer..... guess which one steamed my hair.... haha..

That was the first time I steam my hair...

Now my hair is much smoother... ^v^

That is Alex on the right.... A Baha'i youth staying in Kelantan... Got to know him from the chinese youth camp in Balakong....

My brother contacted him and he walked all the way from his tuition place to meet my brother!

My third uncle and his family stayed in Ridel hotel, which is a very practical place to rest for one or 2 nights...

He said that there were billiard tables inside last time, and he painted the gate blue... but now it is light purple in colour....

Got to say goodbye to Kota Bahru....

Have to go to airport as the AirAsia flight is at 5pm.....

After 5pm, an announcement goes like this...

'Sila mengambil perhatian, penerbangan AirAsia bernombor**** ditangguhkan ke 8.30 malam.....'

'Huh! What!...'

There was a sudden mess in the waiting hall...

Everyone was tired of waiting.... and they have to wait for 3 and a half more hours!!!

Many people were crowding around the information counter to ask for further details...

Nobody can prevent themselves from complaining and sighing.....

We regretted...

Should have taken the FireFly flight...

Luckily they let us out to have dinner elsewhere....

2nd Aunty and Uncle came to fetch us from airport to have dinner outside....

I saw this beside the road, and feel that it is very meaningful....

But, WHERE IS THE CLOCK??
