Updates

Dear blogspot,

I haven't abandoned you.
Don't worry, I'll keep the longer and more meaningful post for you.

Tumblr has been great in the sense that I can:
>>accumulate & queue posts,
>>like other people's posts,
>>re-blog other people's photos or quotes...
>>follow people's tumblr and view their posts on my dashboard
>>know who is following me and who has 'liked' my posts or re-blogged my posts...

But, I don't type long posts and post it there...
I have all my memories in you~!
Don't be jealous ya~
You are special in your own way~~

Now, I've to tell you so many things...

First, my laptop's battery is dying~!!!
Rmb I told you it stopped charging after 80%?
Now, it's decreasing every 2 days...
From 58%, to 55%, to 54%, and now 50%~!!!!

Half of it's life~!!!
Omg...
I don't know until when will it last...
I still need my lappie and its heart (battery) to survive in uni~!!!

Anyhow, if the heart stops pumping, I'll just go to the nearest 'hospital' to get my lappie a heart transplant....
Hope that it won't cost me a lot...

Secondly, I just cut my hair~!!!
Yeap... I cut it myself again... (U know me so so well...hehe)
Few days ago, I cut my fringe only...
Coz it's so disturbing... especially in class... it's too long that it blocks my vision...

Then just now, I decided to cut the length...
Many people said : 'Wah, ur hair soooo long now...'
I look at the mirror, yea, I agree....
It's getting to look like a worn out broom...
dry and frizzy...

Ok, i opened my drawer, grabbed the scissors, stared at the mirror for awhile, and ....
my hair starts to fall bit by bit onto the floor....
At least an inch shorter now...
I feel much better about myself...
yeah~!
Mission accomplished~
I hope to keep my curly hair until Pharmacy Night in Nov...
Can I?
If not, I'll cut til super short...
and wear a wig.. (haha, just joking)

Thirdly, I've paid for Pharmacy Night...
It's the first ball organised by MUPhaS...
Although it won't be a grand one with more than 300 people, but it would leave a very memorable page in the History book of Monash BPharm...
Should I perform? (with friends of course)
It would be quite boring to stick to the chair all night and see other people enjoy on stage...
Maybe I should...
But what to perform?!?

Fourthly, I'll join this coming ISGP level 2... during the Raya break...
I told you about level 1 last year end right??
I am anticipating lots of learning and sharing...
I've to skip a few lectures though... but hope that it'll be worth it...

Oh no~!!!
I just realized that my battery has stopped charging at 49%~!!!
I should let it rest....

Thanks blogspot for still supporting me~!!

New Diseases in M'sia

The Malaysian Ministry of Health is now asking the public to be on the
lookout for symptoms of the following new contagious diseases.

ASSMA
Severe rashes around the mouth caused by kissing too much ass. The number-one disease in Malaysia amongst
civil service

DIAL-ARRHOEA
Uncontrollable urge to continually dial friends on mobile phone to share with them such important information as "I'm now on the monorail"or "I'm
walking towards the car." Victims can be recognized by large, twitching thumb.

MEESLES
Blotchy skin condition caused by eating too many packets of instant noodles

MULTIPLE SPOUSOSIS
Affliction whereby victims make frequent trips to Vietnam,Thailand,Indonesia, and China to take on additional brides. Middle-aged men are at significant risk.

YELLOW FEVER
Compulsion to date Asian females. Very common affliction amongst foreign celebrities and caucasian expatriates working in Malaysia. Also known as Pinkerton's Disease.

EKOR-TOTONUS
Flushed complexion, high blood pressure and sometimes depression at finding out one has not won any gaming numbers and lotteries.

CYBERTENSION
Feelings of stress and panic caused by lack of internet access.

DYEBETES
A compulsive need to colour one's hair. Reddish brown tints are the most common symptom, but health authorities have reported a new strain of blond highlights.

CHICKEN TOX
Victims exhibit a great need to tokkok. Highly contagious.
Spread by ordinary conversation, and may be exacerbated by good food and alcohol. Politicians and lawyers are especially susceptible. Incurable.

ITCHINIA
The urge in some men after reaching 40 to go for young chicks.
This disease spreads fast among those with money and position and cuts across both government and business people. Beware of those who take trips out under the pretext of duty or business.
This is a dangerous symptom that the disease may already have taken hold.

Touched

My mum's birthday was yesterday.
She doesn't want to celebrate coz she said that dad left us on the 30th, and her bday is also on the 30th.
So 30th is her unlucky number.

'Omg... it's on a different month la...' My brother and I said.

'No no, i don't care... I don't want to celebrate, that's it.' Mum was so firmed with her decision.

I wanted to buy her gifts.
I wanted to cook her a meal.
I wanted to buy a cake for her.

I bought her a blouse, but she didn't want it.
She said that it's not her size and not her taste.
She refused to try it.
Haiz...
I know that it will look nice on her.

Nevermind.
In the end, I decided to sing songs with my brother for her...
We practised a few times 2 days before Saturday when she's not around.
We combined 3 songs:
> You raised me up
> Yue4 liang4 dai4 biao3 wo3 de xin1 (chinese song)
> Happy birthday song (in english, then in mandarin).

On Friday night, 11 something, me and my bro held our instruments (guitar for bro and violin for me), sat on stools, raised the music stand, placed the lyrics and chords on the stand, and started singing and playing in her room.... (fuyoh, like a mini music concert)

She thought that we're practising for some occasions or just random playing.
After hearing the lyrics, and I kissed her cheeks in the middle of the chinese song, she realised that it's for her birthday.

She cried.
Her cheeks turned red and tears kept on flowing like nobody's business.
She was so touched.
We kept on singing until the end.

She's still thinking about dad.
She said that it would be better if dad is around.
"I told u that i don't want to celebrate!" she said.

"We're not elebrating for you~! We're just singing for you!" we claimed.

No cake for her this year.
But more love and care to fill her heart.

Mosquito battle

Don't you just hate the insect above?
These few weeks, I 'donated' lots of blood...to the creature above.
I know that it's durian season now, is there any study or evidence that mosquitoes breed better during durian season?!?
Or maybe it's just the consequence of human's immoral act?

Itchy...
super itchy...
*scratch scratch... jump jump... keep shaking... scratch scratch...clap clap* =daily routine at 6-8pm.
Help~!!!!!

I've mosquito nettings at my room's door and windows.
But, no use.
They are so smart.
They follow me closely behind when I open my door to enter my room.
They are the best 'spy agent' on earth.
No no... they are the best 'stalker' on earth...

I cannot stand it anymore~!!!
No, not only me... my whole family can't stand it anymore~!!!

Just now, I decided to have a battle with these deadly creatures.
I tied my hair, closed all the windows and doors, switched on all the lights, held the Shieldtox in my right hand, waited for my partner (my brother) to get ready, and SPRAYED~!!!!
While spraying (especially at dark areas), I hit all the stuff so that they will fly out...
They flew out weakly due to the insecticide, and that's when my partner attack them.
*Clap clap clap*
die die die...
hahaha...

'Jie! u see! 3 dead in a row!!! so many in my hand! yeah!' my bro cried out...
It's so fun!
The fun really began when I found this mosquito bat lying on the cupboard~!!!
I never knew that we've this secret weapon at home~!!!
It's really a weapon, u know why?
Because, a friend of mine (from Melbourne, Aus), bought this from Malaysia and wanted to bring back home to use, but was confiscated by the Airport Security coz it was identified as a weapon. Haha~!
So, seriously, it's a 'dangerous' yet useful weapon.

Killing became so much easier with this tool in hand.
I simply danced 'gracefully' with the weapon in hand, and the sound of the 'enemy' being electrocuted was so 'melodious'...
As fun as playing badminton... hehe~
During the battle, I found out that we've some silent helpers - Cicakmen (lizards) on the wall...

After about 45 minutes of battle, guess what, we won~! (of course...)
We roughly counted... at least 30-40 mosquitoes were sacrificed (sorry mosquitoes, although u only live for 4-8 weeks, I've to shorten ur lifespan)...
Some had blood squeezed out of their body when they die, don't know whether it's my blood... lol

Dear friends, please keep our environment clean...
Prevent these creatures from breeding by removing all possible breeding grounds...
Check out your garden or house compound...
You'll be surprised to see larvae (wriggler)... that'll turn into blood sucking mini vampires in a week's time...

Save your blood people!
So that u can donate more to those people who need them~!

spec

One question, should I wear contact lens?
or change my spec to a bigger and darker-border spec like the above?
(btw, it's not mine... the owner is at the left... hehe)

i feel cute with that spec~!
oh yeah!
^v^

Anyway, that's me in the lab...
trying to find something fun and distracting to do... hehe

lee hom vs bro

This is my idol - Lee Hom since I was young...

This is my brother...
Don't they just look alike?!?
(Several unrelated people from different parts of the world said this)
maybe in some way, or from some angles...

On second thought, maybe not... haha~

weird

Weird stuff happened last friday...

I parked my car at the same row as my friend's car, and I remember the spot clearly, but it was moved to the next row when I collected my car!
My car is not at the same row as my friend's car!

HOW COME?!?

I checked whether there's any evidence of people breaking into my car, or punctured my tyres, etc... before entering my car...
None...

How did my car moved?

I remembered that I parked with the head of my car enter the parking spot 1st... but when i get out, i don't have to reverse!
I just drove out as though i did reverse parking at first...

My car was clearly being moved, but HOW~!?!?!?

I scratched my head til now, but no answer...

Weird case...

Tired of thinking...

luckily im safe and my car is safe...
That's the most important... ^v^

Unrestrained as the wind

Blue day!!!
We wore blue during our last JYG, just for fun...
Junior youth and youth love to have fun, don't you think so?
And they are most productive when they are having fun, provided they are under control.
Youth are strong and we are the spearheads~!

I was really excited when I received an email from Monash Library yesterday morning.
One of the books that I've suggested the library to purchase has arrived~!
It's called 'Unrestrained as the Wind', from US.
I've never seen the book sold in M'sia~
I quickly went to borrow it... and now it's just beside me~ ^v^

It has about 450 pages, quite a thick book...
The contents are just amazing, like an encyclopedia...
many answers to the doubts about the Faith, the Laws, Obligations, Family, Relationships, Prayers, Social Issues, Education, Environment etc can be found inside this book, with Writings from Baha'u'llah, Abdu'l Baha, Shoghi Effendi, or the Universal House of Justice...
There are even stories or examples about the youth during the time of Baha'u'llah, such as Badi, Ruhullah, Zaynab, Mona, Zarrin and so on...
However, it's not my property.
I can only borrow it for 2 weeks and renew it if I want to continue borrowing...
Got to try to read it and share it in Uni.Verse! ^v^

proactive vs reactive

Yeah, exam is finally over for this sem...
This sem started quite 'relax-ly', then suddenly 'KABOOM'~!
Bombarded with piles of notes and assignments, forcing us into asthma, COPD, nausea & vomiting, IBD, constipation, diarrhea, and cachexia~
Finally,
my SOB, arrythmia, and migraine is being relieved...
not by any medication and therapy,
but by the fact that:
EXAM IS NOW OVER...

Tired, exhausted brain...
Studied a lot, memorised a lot, yet only tested on some...
Some topics were not tested at all...
Omg, wasted my time trying to memorise them in detail...

Anyway, it's over now and i can relax a bit...

Scanned through my emailsssssss,
found this picture quite interesting...

Humans are creative and innovative,
they can solve lots of problems with practical ideas,
yet most of us only show our talents after something had happened...

We are reactive to situations, not proactive.
Why can't we use our talents proactively?

Just like in pharmaceutical practise, many adverse drug events can be prevented if health practitioners are careful, always think in advance, and use smartly designed procedures to carry out pharmaceutical therapy for patients...

Ok, don't want to relate to exams...
How about the mother earth?
Pollutions can be prevented if we act proactively...
Like the man in the photo, when flood comes, this idea just came out just to solve the immediate problem...
How about in the long term?

So many things can be solved if we prevent them from happening...
Like our health...
Exercise before we deteriorate...
Not after we get some symptoms of some disorders, then only we realize the importance of exercise...
Don't smoke, not stop after we have lung disease...
Don't drink alcohol, not refrain it after our liver goes 'kookoo'...

I'll go on and on and on if my brain doesn't shut down...
*Yawning*
Just a random thought...
but true right right??

Be Proactive people... ^v^

Withdrawal

Omg... I'm seriously having withdrawal symptoms...
Blurred vision, pinpoint pupils, dizziness, fatigue, mental confusion, immuno-compromised...
And the first paper is still on the way...

Gone were the days where I can 'simply' study for 11 subjects for form4, form5, SPM trials, where the papers are carried continuously almost everyday (with few papers in a day) and finish within 2 weeks...
And I still can score! or probably above average...

It's just 4 units!
Faster faster... Mr. Time, please walk faster...
I cannot stand it anymore!!!

But please walk slower when I need you to... (still got a lot to study!)
Thanks! ^v^
