'Traditional Science is different from Modern Science... '
'Nowadays, modern science want logic reasonings, people are doing experiments to search for answers.... However, we easily loose the connection of heart....
Spirituality is vital.... It helps us to observe lives.... It is the inner motivation and drive...
People who are spiritual are 'cool & calm'.... They don't loose their temper easily...
Development - Nowadays, people are only talking about material development.... How big is ur car, How tall is ur building, Have the largest airport......
How about spiritual development??
Isn't that even more important??
What caused the Economic crisis now in the world??
Human Greed... we forgot our purpose of life....
The 2nd speaker was Prof. Dato Dr. Ab. Rahim Selamat, Dean, School of Education, Universiti Selangor.Science, Religion and Development are inseperable, integrated, holistic.... They are in a systematic entity...
Sometimes we thought we are right, but we are not...
We think that we are moving, but actually we are still on the same spot....
We have to Rethink, Redo, Relearn, Unlearn, Reengineer....
He modified the simpulan bahasa to 'Buat baik jangan sekali, Buat jahat berpada-pada'...
Human are concentrating too much on visible infrastructure... Where is the invisible infrastructure?
U got the best building in the world? So what? It is only material substance...
We tend to use too much science for material development.. not spiritual, which is far more essential....
Last but not least, the 3rd speech was by Dr. Irene Leong, Associate Professor, University Technology MARA. She is a Baha'i.There is a synergistic relationship among science, religion and development.
It is possible to achieve the ideal world, but difficult, unless all of us change our mindset..
We need a new mindset...
A paradigm shift...
We need to have unity in thought & action...
Einstein said:Modern men are in 'grave danger'...
Rational thinking is not enough to stop man from self-destruction....
Social Norms - premarital sex, promiscuity, competition, cheating.....
Affect the mind of our young ones...
Nowadays, children and youths are not concern about the world issues... they prefer to chat on9, watch movies, 'lepak'...
Dr. Lee Lee Luther did a research on 584 secondary & tertiary students in Malaysia....
She found out that 56% want to be successful in life, have a well paid job, and enjoy a luxurious life...
Only 8 % feels that there is a higher purpose in life, that is to serve humankind, to help each other, to help the world....
There are courses where students learn the art of forgery(forge cheques...) & hack computers... If these students are not well equipped with moral qualities, what will they do after they learn those skills?? Help to improve the world or vice versa??
(Dr. John was sitting on the right, being blocked in this photo...)
English language is the only language that use 'I' (capital letter for 'saya')...
Human are too self-centered... Think that He or She is the greatest... (so, from now onwards, i will start to use 'i' instead of 'I'...)
We should transfer our knowledge and skills into noble actions...
Because our present mindset, we see different races, feel sensitive when people mention the word 'religion'...
Why??
Aren't we created by the same God??
Why is science and religion being seperated for so long??
Even in schools, teachers seperate the teachings... They teach, but do not educate...
They do not implement values in every subject....They do not help the students to understand the true purpose of learning... that is to use scientific knowledge in the right way, to help improve both material and spiritual development...
Dr. John, Mr. Enoch(AmCee of the Day), Mdm June Loh, Dr. Irene, and Prof. Rahim.
This is mother Mangalam, the founder of Pure Life Society...(She is 80 plus... Hindu... still active and healthy...)Who r going to improve the world towards betterment??
Her? Uncles and Aunties??
No!
Its the young generations.... the future leaders of the world....
"Children are even as a branch that is fresh and green; they will grow up in whatever way ye train them."
"Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable ankind to benefit there from."

O FRIEND! In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly.
It is a critical stage....
Need to be guided towards the straight path of life...

O FRIEND! In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly.
"THE BETTERMENT OF THE WORLD CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PURE AND GOODLY DEEDS, THROUGH COMMENDABLE AND SEEMLY CONDUCT..."
~World peace yo~
