'see-and-why?'

Read the title as quick as possible.
Got it??
It's actually "CNY"... haha ^v^

No CNY celebration for my family this year... haiz...
But, deep in my heart, I've got more 'CNY feeling' than previous years... Don't know why...
And the feeling is not mere anticipation to get many many AngPaos, or eat those CNY biscuits, or meet relatives, or wear new clothes...
Maybe it is because that I appreciate my family members more now...
Maybe it is because of the CNY songs played over and over again in Guardian where I work...
Maybe it is because I have realized the true meaning of CNY...

No new clothes for me this year...
Not going to eat (a lot of) those CNY biscuits or oranges this year... (fattening mah...)
Not going to get any AngPaos this year...

But, I'm going to visit all my relatives...
Yes, even if I'm alone...

This year, I hope to not serve the internet during CNY... instead, I'll chat more with my family and relatives, or play games with them (not gamble of course), or cook something for them... ...
So many other things to do which can improve our relationships and understand each other better, rather than online and do things alone...
Hope that other youngsters outside will understand the indepth reason of CNY and step back courageously when they are attracted to the internet unconsciously...
Many of us tend to spend more time online after travelling back home... So, why go home?
Stay back at hostel or overseas if want to online gao gao... and nobody will disturb you...

Explore your family and relatives...
like a detective...
you might hear many funny and memorable stories from them...
and have the best CNY ever...

If you can't go home, then online and skype with family is a must! ^v^

Busy meeeee

As u all know, I'm now working part time at Guardian...

There's no pharmacy in this branch unfortunately...
But the good thing is, it's near my house, so transport is not a problem...
I can wake up quite late, have a nice breakfast, start my car engine at 9.52am, and reach my work place at 10am sharp... Just in time to start my job...

Many customers thought that we have pharmacy in there, but I have to always say:
"so sorry, we don't have pharmacy here... Maybe u can go to the other Guardian there that has pharmacist... it's just straight down from here, on the left..."
OR
"so sorry, we don't have pharmacy here... The other Guardian not far from here has pharmacy, but the pharmacist is off duty now... "

Seriously, the pharmacist at the other Guardian is not always there... very relax working time... or maybe she is working under 2 pharmacies, so have to run to and fro...

Yesterday, one of the customers thought that I'm a pharmacist working there, so asked me whether got 'this this' medicine or not...
I answered :" so sorry sir, I'm not a pharmacist, we don't have pharmacy here..."
Haiz...
I should say:" I'm not yet a pharmacist..." haha...

So kesian la these people...
Many of them look for pharmacist after working hours... eg after 6pm, on Sat and Sun...
Maybe I'll open a pharmacy in the future, and have a few pharmacists that have rotating working hours, so that our pharmacy can serve the people in the community even at odd hours... but of course not midnight la...

What are the best selling items?

From my observations, I would say Plasters, Redoxon (effervescense vitamin C), Pregnancy Testing kit, Strepsils, and condoms...
From what I see la.... yes, and i am not joking...

Addictive

Lucky I'm in love with my best friend....

Love changes changes everything
love makes you fly, it can break your wings
love changes changes everything
love makes the rules, from fools to kings
love changes, love changes everything...

I won't hesitate, no more no more,
it cannot wait, I'm yours~
There's no time to complicate, our time is short,
this is our fate, I'm yours...

He's the reason for the tear drops on my guitar,
the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do...

So I drive home alone,
as I turn out the light,
I'll put his picture down
and maybe get some sleep tonight...

lalallalalalalaa... ^v^

Put your words into actions, pls

The wrong in the world continues to exist just because people talk only of their ideals, and do not strive to put them into practice. If actions took the place of words, the world’s misery would very soon be changed into comfort.

Travel tips

Just a few tips I've learnt from lots of flight transfer...
(Basically I've sat on 7 flights in just 5 months... 3 Airasia X, 3 Tigerairway and 1 Emirates)

#1 There are weight limit per person.
So, just double check your weight allowance, including check-in luggage and hand carry.
Generally it's only 7kg for hand carry bag, which does not include a handbag and a laptop bag.
Thus, put in some heavy but small items in your handbag or laptop bag, but also ensure that you have the strength to carry those!!!

Just to be safe, you can weigh your luggages at close counters.
Don't get it?
When you reach the airport, don't immediately go to your check-in counter.
Find a 'nobody counter' and put your luggages on the weighing scale to make sure that your luggage is within the allowed limit.
Extra til 500g (Eg, 30.5kg) should be fine.
If not, just throw away some unwanted and old stuff before you lock your luggage and check-in.

#2 Bring an empty plastic bottle.
Yeap, you can't bring in water bottles, coz liquids more than 100mL is not allowed.
So, just throw away the water inside, and bring in the water bottle.
What for??
After you enter (before boarding probably), you may find some water dispensary machine.
Fill your bottles there (when there're not people lining up to drink it), so that you don't have to buy water on plane, and get hydrated always~~
The people are just afraid that the water we bring in contains explosive chemicals, but drinking the water after the scanning custom is ok.

#3 Bring in some breads.
If you would like to save some money (the food on plane is expensive!), buy some buns or biscuits to be eaten on the plane.
You can't bring food into some countries, such as Australia.
So, finish those food on plane.
You'll surely finish them during long hauls of flight... Don't worry...

#4 Be alert.
Yeap. There would be too many people, and you don't know them.
Count your luggages always, and make sure all of them are within your sight.
Look at boards or screens to know where you are going and what time does check-in counter closes, boarding gate opens and closes, flight number etc...
There could be changes anytime, and will be announced via announcements or screens.

#5 Stretch and walk around.
After the seat belt signs are off, you can walk around a bit... Don't stay at your seat throughout the flight! (Unless your flight is less than 2 hours)
Why??
Because you may get oedema.
It's a condition where your feet becomes swollen, too much interstitial fluid, and becomes so fat that you can't wear your shoes.
Yeap, I've personally experienced it during one of the flights back home.
It takes days to recover.
So, to prevent it, just walk around, massage your legs, and keep your body active (feet especially).
Go to the back and exercise... Stretch... Nobody will laugh at you...

Erm... there are some more small small things which I think you will figure it out yourself.
So, happy holidays to you all who would be traveling overseas! ^v^

Cindy said that the colour of my dress and the colour of the ocean blended together.

How nice if I could blend & diffuse into the ocean and swim happily like a thoughtless fish.
Or rather swim 'happily'...
Coz the fishes also have worries, such as always afraid of predators & trying to hide from them... right?!?

After a tired but fun day at Dream World, Gold Coast, I still woke up at 5am in the morning just to view the sunrise by the beach...
Unfortunately, the sunrise was too early!
I was waken up by Cindy, who was also shocked that the sun rose already...

We missed the sunrise...
Haiz...
Too late, but better late than never!!!
Since we are awake, we decided to go to the beach to enjoy the morning breeze...

Surprisingly, there were some Malaysians already taking photos with their DSLRs and chattering away at the beach!
There were also some caucasians (older couples especially) jogging slowly along the beach...
Nonetheless, there were some muscular guys holding their surf boards ready to surf the beach~~~

It was rather cloudy, so we could not see the sun...
but, the sea breeze was so refreshing and rejuvenating...
Walking like a tortoise (i meant the speed) and look into the wide ocean took away all my stress & worries...
"No worries!"
I always hear this phrase in Melbbie, and it makes people feels great!

I start to miss the culture there, and am trying to introduce it to my fellow Malaysians...
"How r u goin" "Awesome!" "Cool" "No worries!" ... ...

Dear ocean, just take away all my worries, not my new pair of flipflops from Aus! ^v^

Feels good to be back

Mosquitoes...
Humid weather...
Carpet-less floor...
Sweats...

All of them welcomed me home...

Feels nice to be back home...

The nasi lemak on plane tasted like heaven...
But, the portion seemed to be small... omg... i'm a big eater now...

Just had big pao and 'zhong4 zi3' aka chinese dumpling for breakfast... super satisfying...

Now, i have to clear my mail box, and upload photos... phew...
